Mint Chutney Recipe
Required Ingredients
Mint: 1 bunch
Green Chilli: 2
Black Salt: a pinch
Cumin: ¼ teaspoon
Asafoetida: a pinch (similar to mung bean)
Coriander Powder: ½ teaspoon
Onion: to taste
Salt: to taste
Lemon/Raw Mango/Pomegranate: as desired
Preparation Method
Pluck mint leaves from the stalk and wash thoroughly. Place the leaves in a mortar or mixer. Break the stalks of green chillies and add them to the mixer. If using raw mango, peel it, remove the stone, and cut into small pieces. If you have pomegranate or dry mango powder, add it as well. Add ground coriander, half of the cumin, and salt. Grind into a fine paste. Once the paste is ready, add the remaining roasted cumin seeds and asafoetida. Squeeze lemon juice to taste. You can also add onion according to your preference.
