Orange-Peel Chutney Recipe
Required Ingredients
Orange peel: 50 grams
Green chilli: 2
Cumin: ½ teaspoon
Asafoetida: similar to mung bean
Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
Green Coriander: 10 grams
Salt: as per taste
Black salt: a pinch
Lemon: ½
Grated coconut: 1 teaspoon (optional)
Preparation Method
Scrape the orange peels thoroughly from the inside to remove any pulp and make the inner side visible with tiny holes. Soak the peels in water for 8-10 hours, changing the water twice during this period. Once softened, take them out, dry, and fry them until they become crispy. If you want to add grated coconut, fry it along with the peels. Then grind the cumin, asafoetida, dry coriander, and green coriander together with the orange peels. Add salt and black salt as per taste, and squeeze lemon on top for a final tangy twist. Enjoy this unique and delicious chutney!
